Would you like your high school student to be more prepared for the business world? Would you like them to be able to walk into the workplace comfortable using the most popular software programs used in business today...Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint? Would you like them to know more about file management, folder creation, file storage, and file & folder organization? How about knowing how to create functional and dynamic spreadsheets or research papers or resumes?
Did you know that no matter what path your student takes...college, trade school, office position, or production job...they need to be familiar with how to manage files and folders as well as how to use the Microsoft Office products? It's true! Almost all jobs today require some kind of knowledge of at least one of the Microsoft Office products.
- Are you looking for a two (2) semester (Sept-May) online live instructor-led co-op class that teaches students how to use these Microsoft Office products?

- Would you like a class that eliminates you having to teach class content?
- Would you like your child to be able to ask questions and gain further clarity on a topic?
If you said yes to any of the above questions,
this sounds like the class you're looking for and
you've come to the right place!
This class includes:

*** A detailed course outline is provided in the Course Curriculum section below. Please note, course content may not take place in the order in which it's listed on the course outline.
How Many Weeks Does The Course Run?
The course is designed to run September through May and includes over 36 modules of content. Classes meet on the specified dates and times provided in the Class Schedule section and in the My Courses link post purchase.
How Many Credits Is The Class Worth?
The class provides a lot of content and can be assigned as either a one-credit or two-credit hour class, and as the parent, you can determine the number of credits your child is to receive.
How Often Are The Live Instructor-led Sessions?
The instructor-led sessions meet weekly, except for the weeks of major holidays, from September through May. Due to unforeseen circumstances there may be a rare occasion for a recorded class session, the instructor will do her best to notify families of this situation with as much advance notice as possible.
What Time Are The Class Sessions?
Classes meet on Mondays at 10:00 AM Central from September 13, 2021 through May 16, 2022, except during standard holiday breaks. See a class schedule for specific dates in the Class Schedule section under Course Curriculum (below).
What Version Of Microsoft Office Will Be Used?
This class is specifically for PCs using Microsoft Windows. The instructor will be using Microsoft Office 2016. However, for the student success, it is recommended students use the same version or higher. However, those with any version Microsoft Office 2007 and above will work. Please note, this class does not teach Microsoft Excel for the Mac.
How Long Do Students Have Access To The Overall Program?
Even after the live instructor-led sessions end, students have lifetime access to the program, so if something comes up and students are able to attend as planned, they can still do the course self-paced. The only exception is if a family chooses the monthly payment plan and decides to opt out prior to fulfilling their payment plan.
What Happens If My Child Misses Class or Gets Behind Schedule?
The program is flexible and students have options. We always encourage students to jump back into class at the next available online live instructor-led class. Please note, the instructor will not be able to work with the student one-on-one to catch them up on the content they missed.
Or... students can choose to continue using only the recorded self-paced program. All students need to do is follow the recorded program and complete the class at their own individual pace. Remember, your student has on-going access to the program and it offers them lots of flexibility.
